Joe Louis and Max Schmeling battled in two of the most memorable fights in boxing history, knocking out Joe Louis in 1936 before Louis demolished him in one round in 1938. Offered here is an original cardboard poster which advertises the viewing of the fight film from one of their battles. The poster has bold color and sharp images of the fighters. There is edge, corner and surface wear with some soiling and creasing. Presents beautifully against a deep red background. 21 3/4" x 22".
