Joe Louis vs. Max Schmeling I and II Full Tickets

Joe Louis vs. Max Schmeling I and II Full Tickets

Offered here are two original, full, unused tickets to arguably the two most famous fights in the career of Joe Louis, his 1936 and 1938 encounters with Max Schmeling. In the first fight in 1936 Louis entered the ring undefeated and approaching a title shot. His plans were upset by the crafty Schmeling who used an over hand right to stop Louis and end his streak. Two years later, with the world fast approaching war with Nazi Germany, the now world heavyweight champion Joe Louis set out to gain his revenge. Attacking Schmeling from the opening bell Louis destroyed Max ending the fight in the very first round. Both these tickets are original, on site from Yankee Stadium with section, row and seat numbers. The fighters are pictured. Bold color and clear images. Not creased or torn. Excellent condition. A combination you do not want to miss.
