The second bout between Joe Louis and Maz Schmeling is featured in these three oversized AP wire photos. Two depict the German down on the canvas, the other shot earlier in the first round shows the two boxing legends sparring. Although Schemeling won the first bout, this rematch was decided in round one with Louis winning by KO. The prints are (2) @ 11" x 14, (1) @ 12" x 17". Condition averages VG with some creases and small tears as well as newspaper edit enhancements.
