Joe Louis fought Tommy Farr on August 30, 1937 at Yankee Stadium in New York. It was Louis' first defense of the world heavyweight title he won from Jimmy Braddock months earlier. Farr proved a tough opponent, but Louis prevailed winning by 15 round decision. Presented here is an original, full, unused ticket for this event.
