John J. McGraw Glass Plate Negative
Circa 1910s glass plate negative photo of Hall of Famer John McGraw. Though widely remembered for his 33-year managerial career, McGraw was also an accomplished player in the "Dead Ball" era with a .334 career batting average and is shown warming up in this 5x7" classic. Slight image loss at very edges and small burn mark do not at all tarnish McGraw's image. Part of the Brown Brothers collection from the famed aggregation service.
