John L. Sullivan Stone Litho Baseball Movie Poster
The great champion boxer, John L. Sullivan, is the subject of this magnificent circa 1880’s stone lithograph for the stage drama, “Captain Harcourt.” Sullivan is attired in baseball uniform with other players depicted in period uniforms behind him. This lithograph has the Metropolitan Print stamp. It has been professionally linen-backed for preservation. Exceptional color with some very minor wear. 29” x 39.” One of two known to exist.
