John Lennon's Last Christmas Card to Lennon's Doctor
Assortment of personal items including John Lennon's last Christmas card. Front shows a photo of John and Yoko, taken by Jack Mitchell on November 2nd of 1980, and the inside reads, "Merry Xmas + A Happy New Year, John Yoko + Sean," in the hand of Yoko. As John passed on December 8th of 1980, Yoko must have written these cards shortly before and this was sent to the family of a man in California whose dad was a practitioner of Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture for spiritual and physical cleansing and healing. His friendship with Lennon & Yoko started when Lennon started receiving treatments from him in the early '70s. Lot also comes with the following from the family: photos of Lennon & Yoko with the family, a Lennon t-shirt, Beatles eight track, and more.
