Johnny Mize and Gene Beardon Cardboard Advertising Diplay

A 1940's in-store advertising display for Funk Baseball and Sport Caps. The thick 7x9" board features the faces of Gene Bearden and Johnny Mize, the latter of whom says, "Outclass the field in value for your money" in black print beside his face. In the middle of the advertisement is a stamp from Good Housekeeping guaranteeing "Replacement or refund of money if not as advertised therein." This item is in VG condition with slight pinching and paper loss at the corners and a 1" vertical rip on the top middle.
