Johnny Vandermeer, of the Cincinnati Reds, is the only pitcher in major league history to throw two consecutive no-hitters. He threw the initial one on June 1, 1938 against the Boston Braves and achieved immortality by no-hitting the Brooklyn Dodgers five days later in the first ever night game at Ebbets Field. 1) Fraternal Order of Police, Tampa Lodge #27.
