Johnson vs Jeffries Raffle Board
Behold an incredibly rare giveaway advertising poster for tickets to attend the July 4, 1910 fight between Jack Johnson and James J. Jeffries. The sign urges: "Pull A Tag Now - One $10 Ticket For The Johnson-Jeffries Fight." This 11"x17" advertisement is cardboard and has been mounted on board. Includes the original pull-aways. There are tack holes in the corners, and it is chipped in the upper left corner. There's also some soiling and a pencil notation. With bold color and print, this is the only example we have seen.
