Julio Cesar Chavez 1992 Fight Worn Trunks
These Julio Cesar Chavez fight-worn satin boxing trunks were obtained by Bob Pace from Chavez's brother after the Frankie Mitchell fight in Las Vegas on August 1, 1992, where Chavez defeated Mitchell (29-1) by a fourth round TKO. Navy and white satin are adorned with silver sequins along the side length of each thigh. Center of waist reads, "Atlantico" and front of trunks read "J.C. Chavez" in navy with "Atlantico" towards each knee. Back center waist also reads "Atlantico." Inside tag says "Bertinelli", size is "M," "Made in U.S.A.", and "Dry Clean Only." These boxing trunks are photo-matched from Getty Images (#1785121), so they show Chavez wearing these shorts. LOA from Bob Pace.
