"Kevin Weeks Testifies Against Whitey Bulger" Trial Courtroom Sketch by Jane Collins

Striking framed courtroom sketch that Jane Collins drew of the trial of notorious crime boss James "Whitey" Bulger. Color image depicts accomplice Kevin Weeks on the stand with a machine gun with "Whitey Bulger Trial" and dated "7/8" on the bottom; on July 8th, 2013 Kevin Weeks did in fact testify against Bulger. This artwork was created in the same room as Whitey himself; signed "Jane Flavell Collins," she also identified Bulger's attorney Brian Kelly on left and Kevin Weeks on stand. Charcoal on gray paper measuring 18x24", framed to 30.5x25". Collins was no stranger to courtroom drama, having sketched several high-profile criminal cases which were distributed to national media. After many years in hiding, Bulger was captured in 2011 and found guilty of 11 murders; before his arrest, he was second on the FBI's Most Wanted list behind only Osama bin Laden.
