Sergio Eligio Sardinas Montalvo, Cuban born featherweight champion during the 1930’s, better known as “Kid Chocolate”, the “Cuban Bon Bon” was a master in his own right. His amateur record is flawless (100-0, 86KO). His professional record is equally as impressive (145-10-6, 64KO). Display holds 7 amazing vintage photos of the dazzling featherweight (matted to 8.5x10”, 4.5x6.75’, 4x6.5”, 4.5x6.5”, 3 are matted to 5.5x8”). Two have personalized signatures in black fountain pen. One is signed “Kid Chocolate”, the other is signed “Eligio Sardinas Kid Chocolate”. Small plate with engraved name, lifespan, & fight record. Nicely framed. Photos range VG-EX.
