Kid Gleason (1928)

Kid Gleason (1928)

Kid Gleason was the betrayed skipper of the Chicago White Sox during the infamous "Black" Sox scandal. Although eight of his players were banned from baseball forever, Gleason had no knowledge of the illicit betting. This is a great 5" x 7" print of the Kid in EX + condition and shot in 1928. Newspaper clip on verso.
