Knights of Columbus Award Presented to Claire
Though it's tough to prove, the belief is that the Knights of Columbus' New York City chapter awarded this pendant to Babe Ruth's wife, Claire. "K of C" appears above the chapter's crest on the front along with a knight's head figure, while the likeness of a ballplayer - possibly Ruth himself - appears on the reverse. The jewelry measures roughly 3" in length and 1.5" at its widest point, with a bar at the top of the pendant inscribed "CLAIRE."
