Large 1950s Howdy Doody Royal Gelatin Advertising Sign

Large 1950s Howdy Doody Royal Gelatin Advertising Sign

"Say kids, what time is it?" For 13 years, Buffalo Bob Smith welcomed viewers with those words every week, and while the set has been dark since 1960, the lovable puppet Howdy Doody's show has lived on in American hearts and minds. This incredibly well-preserved in-store advertising sign for Royal Gelatin is made of heavy stock and double-sided and could actually be split into two separate signs. While there is a little bit of wear at some of the corners and a light fold in the middle, the item has never been used and is still in great condition for a sign this large and old. Despite its age it is still very colorful, large and impressive, and a great keepsake to remember a time gone by.
