Large Ruth-Gehrig Framed Photo with Ticket Stub From Lou Gehrig Memorial Game
This splendid large photograph shows Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig together at Lou Gehrig Day, July 4, 1939, when "The Iron Horse" declared himself "The luckiest man on the face of the Earth." Gehrig is in full uniform while The Babe stands beside him in a natty light colored double breasted suit. The photo measures 28 x 32" and is placed in a handsome dark brown frame measuring 39 x 42". The photo has excellent clarity and contrast and is NRMT. Also included is a ticket stub from the Lou Gehrig Memorial Game, played July 4, 1941, a month after Gehrig's passing. 4 x 3" with a picture of Gehrig on the face, EX-MT.
