Larry Brown Washington Redskins Football Painting by Orlando S. Lagman, "Painter of Presidents"
In 1972, the Washington Redskins were one of the NFL's premiere teams. The team had some age, which also came with vast experience, but they rode their stingy defense and potent running game, led by the young legs of running back Larry Brown, to their first ever Super Bowl appearance. Created by noted Presidential painter Orlando S Lagman in 1991 to honor Brown's MVP season, this 31.5x 45.5" original oil on canvas depicts Brown breaking another long run, with several New York Giants defenders in pursuit. Signed in lower right corner and professionally framed to a dimension of 40x54". This piece was made for the Washington DC Touchdown Club and was hung until it closed.
