Larry Holmes Autographed 1992 Fight Worn Trunks
These white satin boxing trunks with a red trim were worn by boxer Larry Holmes in his fight with Heavyweight Champion Evander Holyfield on June 19, 1992. Our consignor obtained these trunks from Larry Holmes in 1993. "B.U.M' Equipment is in red on the waist band and on the bottom left section of the trunks. The bottom right section is signed by Holmes in black and reads, "Larry Holmes 6/19/92 Peace". Holyfield received the first big scar in his career, an opened gash over his eye from Holmes' elbow. Still, the younger Holyfield beat Holmes in a unanimous decision. These trunks are photo matched by Getty Images (#81475196). 2 LOAs: LOA from Bob Pace Boxing as well as hologram inside shorts, and a letter from Larry Holmes Enterprises Inc.
