Larry Holmes Fight Worn Trunks & Robe
Dazzling pair of white and red silk Everlast trunks and robe worn by former Heavyweight Champion Larry Holmes. After the aging but still potent "Easton Assassin" fought Ed Donaldson on September 19, 1995, he gave his trunks and robe to his friend, Dr. Don Chumley. Holmes signed the left leg of the trunks "Peace, Larry Holmes 9/19/95" in black sharpie. The matching robe is white with red trim and has the Everlast size 44 tag inside the collar. Holmes signed on the chest in black sharpie with the same message. The robe and trunks show good use and are in beautiful shape. The signatures average an "8" out of a possible 10. LOA. Splendid items of one of boxing's great underrated champs, and true gentlemen.
