Late 1950's Joe Grabowski Philadelphia Warriors Warm-Up Jacket

Late 1950's Joe Grabowski Philadelphia Warriors Warm-Up Jacket

The Philadelphia Warriors competed in the BAA (now known as the NBA) between 1946 and 1962, winning championships in 1947 and 1956. This magnificent satin warm-up jacket was worn by forward Joe Grabowski during his eight-year stint with the club. Inside the rear collar is the "Lowe and Campbell" manufacturer's tag adjacent to a small tear in the lining. Inside the right pocket is a felt strip tag with the number 9. On the rear outer cape is PHILA. WARRIORS in blue satin. The zipper is not in working condition but the jacket is properly tagged and shows wear. Hall of Famers Wilt Chamberlain, Paul Arizin, Al Cervi and Tom Gola also spent time with the Warriors franchise.
