Late 1960’s New York Yankees Jacket

Late 1960’s New York Yankees Jacket

This is absolute vintage Bombers! Snap-up jacket made of thick navy wool is covered with Yankee pride, all 1960’s from one of the most popular teams in recent history. “NY” logo embroidered on left breast and circular felt Yankees team patch on left sleeve. Judging from the faded number “12” written in black marker in the collar, this jacket was probably made for player Mike Hegan or Phil Linz, but was most likely worn by several Yankee teammates. The Yankees patch on the sleeve is slightly detached at the top of the circle. Tagged on inside tail with “MacGregor [size] 46” with a flag tag that has been worn completely blank and falling off. Otherwise the jacket is in beautiful condition, especially the interior. The outside displays the expected use and wear for a vintage garment of its caliber.
