Late 1970's Tony Dorsett Game Worn Helmet
One of the most hailed of the Blue Star Boys, Tony Dorsett, All-American running back from the University of Pittsburgh who carved out a Hall of Fame career as one of the NFL all-time greatest. He wore this Rawlings helmet shortly after he won the Heisman. Blue star emblems decaled onto either side, "Dorsett" on dyno tape on the back stripe. Inside is marked with his "#33" in black marker. All padding is in place, as is the chinstrap. The helmet shows an excellent amount of game use with lots of scuffs to the top. LOA.
