Late 1970s Mick Tingelhoff Minnesota Vikings Game-Worn Jersey
Mick Tingelhoff may not be a household name, but anyone who plays 17 seasons as an offensive lineman in the NFL deserves some accolades. The Vikings' center from 1962 to 1978, Tingelhoff was named to six straight Pro Bowls during his heyday and played on all four of Minnesota's Super Bowl teams. This classic purple home jersey was game-worn by the man whose numer was retired by the club. It has custom sleeves with elastic #53 screened on the front, back and shoulders and his name sewn on a plate on the back. It appears as if the plate was replaced by the team, maybe due to having been damaged in game play. It is signed on the back with a "Game Used" inscription and shows nice use with scuffs, burns and some rips on the shoulders. There is Sand Knit size 48 tagging along with an exclusive Vikings tag on the front tail.
