Late 1980s Bernie Williams Minor League Game Used Bat
Bernie Williams Louisville Slugger pro-model ("T141") bat dating from the 1986-1989 manufacturing period. The bat, which measures 34 inches and weighs 31.75 ounces, is not cracked and displays outstanding use, including ball marks on all sides of the barrel, pine tar on the handle, and checking (grain separation) on the barrel from repeated ball contact. This bat was used by Williams during his minor league career with the Yankees, prior to his Major League debut in 1991. Williams played with Ft. Lauderdale, Oneonta, Prince William, Columbus, and Albany during the referenced labeling period. One of the key members of the Yankees' 1996 to 2000 World Championship dynasty, Williams retired in 2006 with 287 home runs, 1,257 RBI, and lifetime .297 average.
