Notes: “Contrato Del Jugador” presented to Negro League Great and Hall of Famer Leon Day to play for Santurce in the Puerto Rican Winter League. Dated July 8, 1947. Fully executed and signed by Day in blue ballpoint as well as the team and league presidents. There is also a one page typed letter about Leon Day typed in Spanish on “Gobierno De Puerto Rico” letterhead and dated Sept 10, 1946. <br><br>Condition: Day’s signature and writing are bold. EX-MT.
