On September 25, 1962 at Comiskey Park in Chicago Floyd Patterson defended his heavyweight tile against the number one contender Sonny Liston. Liston waited a long time for his shot and made the most of it stopping Patterson in the very first round to win the title. Offered here is an original, full, unused ticket for this event. This full ticket names both fighters, the date and venue and includes a section, row and seat number. Bold color and print. Ticket has some soiling and mild creasing. Overall VG condition. Authenticated by PSA/DNA.
