Lou Gehrig Signed Baseball
OAL (Barnard) baseball lovingly holds one of the most sacred signatures in baseball history, Lou Gehrig. Among other Yankee greats like Combs (on same panel), & Tony Lazzeri, Lou Gehrig’s blue ink signature is prominent with slight bleeding and fading. Grade on the Gehrig is a “7” out of a possible 10. Top of the “L” is interrupted by a blemish on the ball’s shellacked surface. Some slight foxing in a couple spots. All stampings are dark and legible. Ball with blue & red laces is otherwise EX. 7 total signatures on the ball including Wil Cymoore, & Walt Shires.
