Louis-Braddock Official Program (1937)
Joe Louis fought Jim Braddock on June 22, 1937, in Chicago for the Heavyweight Championship. Louis, down early in the fight, rallied and knocked Braddock out in the 8th round to win the World Heavyweight Title. Offered here is an original, official program for this event, 24 pages complete with profiles and photos of the fighters. The center scorecard is not scored, there is a mild center crease. Clean inside and out with only minor rear cover soiling from handling. Good tight binding with minor edge and surface wear, measuring 8.5x 11."
