Louis-Schmeling Poster
The will of two nations came face to face in the squared circle on June 19, 1936. Louis, the champion, a symbol of freedom and the American way versus Max Schmeling, the poster boy for Hitler’s Third Reich. This tri-color poster produced by “Official Motion Pictures” advertises the film release of that remarkable bout. Its top and left borders exhibit light creasing and there is discoloration and spotting throughout. VG-EX.
