Joe Louis fought Jim Braddock on June 22, 1937 in Chicago for the Heavyweight Championship. Louis, down early in the fight, rallied and knocked Braddock out in the 8th round to win the World Heavyweight Title. Offered here is a very scarce, period, limited edition lithograph by noted artist Joseph Golinkin, who captured the intensity of Louis capturing the heavyweight crown in this masterful piece. Signed on the lower mount by the artist. Bold, clear image. Has some edge tears on the border well outside of the image. 15.5" x 19." Seldom seen.
