Lowney's Chocolates Lithographed Tin Advertising Sign

Lowney's Chocolates Lithographed Tin Advertising Sign

This advertisement for Lowney's Chocolates, circa 1905, is an all-tin sign, lithographed on front with an angelic scene of a smiling woman in a long dress, surrounded by chocolate-bearing cherubs. In the bottom right corner, a box of Lowney’s Chocolates lies open. The sign has dark raised edges giving the appearance of a 19 x 15" frame, while the colors on the ad itself are bright pastel, measuring around 15 x 11". EX condition, with only minor wear. Great example of vintage advertising art.
