This find of 70 fresh M116 Sporting Life cards was recently discovered in most of their original envelopes. Highlights include the following nineteen cards freshly graded by PSA: Honus Wagner Blue Bkgd “6 EX-MT, Cobb Blue Bkgd “5 EX, Lajoie Blue Bkgd “7 NRMT & “6 EX-MT, Bender Blue Bkgd “7 NRMT (only 1 example graded higher), Home Run Baker Black Back “7 NRMT, Wild Bill Donovan Blue Bkgd “8 NM-MT (highest graded to date with none graded higher), Plank “6 EX-MT, M. Brown Blue Bkgd “6 EX-MT & “5 EX, Bresnahan Blue Bkgd “6 EX-MT, Crawford Blue Bkgd “6 EX-MT, Jennings Blue Bkgd “6 EX-MT, Evers Black Back “6 EX-MT, Cy Young Black Back “5 EX, Chance Blue Bkgd “5 EX, Clarke Black Back “5 EX, E. Collins Blue Bkgd “5 EX, and Mathewson Blue Bkgd “4 VG-EX (mk). 22 of the remaining cards are the scarce Blue Background cards. They include: Bresnahan, Chase, Crawford, H. Davis, Dooin, W. Highlights include Babe Adams (black back), Huggins, Tinker (black back), Waddell (black back), Wallace and 5 other black backs. These average EX-MT to NRMT. Collection also includes five original Sporting Life envelopes (PR to VG). This lot is great to way to start building the M116 Sporting Life set.
