This $80 check written by Madonna for a facial at the Monique salon on July 22, 1987 is the only known example check to surface from this most important pop icon. The plain beige check from the Entertainment Industries Division of Mercantile National Bank in Los Angeles is printed with the singer’s full name of "Madonna Ciccone" on top and signed in the same fashion in blue pen, grading a solid 8/10 just slightly obscured by the "Paid" stamping.
