Magnificent 19th Century Oriental Dragon Table & Chairs
Spectacular set of mahogany table and five chairs would make any room look like a palace. These Oriental wonders were produced some time in the middle to the latter part of the 19th century. The detail is amazing with dragons carved throughout both the table and the chairs. If produced new, this piece would cost tens of thousands of dollars. Handcarved, it is in its original finish with some minor scrapes and flecks here and there but overall in excellent condition. The “Master Chair” looks like an Emperor’s Throne and is significantly larger than the other chairs. The other chairs are 38” tall and the seats are 18”. The table is magnificent with incredible detail on the legs making it look like a sea of serpents and is 30” tall and 60” in diameter. One of the finest pieces of furniture you will ever see.
