Marciano vs. Charles Fight Film Poster
On June 17, 1954, at Yankee Stadium in New York, World Heavyweight Champion Rocky Marciano made his third defense of the title against highly skilled former champion Ezzard Charles. In one of the most bruising fights in Marciano's career, the champion prevailed in a close, 15-round decision. Offered here is an original poster used to advertise the viewing of the fight film from this event. This is an original United Artists fight film poster picturing both fighters. Mounted on poster board with bold color and images, the poster is clean and not stained. This is a paper one sheet poster measuring 28x41". There is mild restoration at the original seams but it remains in EX+ condition.
