Originating from a personal friend who attended church services with the unanimous-choice Hall of Famer, the well-worn zip cover measures 6x9" with "Santa Biblia" in gold leaf on front and spine. On the first blank page of the Spanish-language edition, The Sandman has signed in 7/10 blue ballpoint ink along with the inscription "Yankees" and "Dios te Bendiga," which translates to God Bless You. Rivera was certainly blessed with exceptional talent, as evidenced by his record 652 career saves and he stands as the only player to date to be named on every Hall of Fame induction ballot.
