Near the end of Marilyn and Joe’s honeymoon in Japan, she accepted a request to go on tour to perform for troops stationed in Korea. Against Joe's staunch disapproval she would go ahead and entertain more than 13,000 soldiers at one army base alone. These 3.5x4.5” black and white photos, taken by one of the star struck servicemen feature the blonde bombshell during that sultry show of support. Never before seen, each image has “M.Monroe Korea '54” written in blue fountain pen on the verso while three of the pictures are lightly toned. Overall EX-EX-MT
