Considered one of Washington's closest advisors, the French nobleman Lafayette quickly enamored himself with the American people, and became one of the most popular subjects of paintings, prints and other forms of artistic expression. Appears to be from the time of Lafayette in the early part of the 19th century. A welcome addition to any collection of true Americana. Framed, 8 1/2 x 11 inches. Condition is VF-EX. .
