Martin Luther King & Malcolm X Photographs (14)
Collection includes 12 press photographs of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and two of the February 22, 1965 assassination of black nationalist leader Malcolm X. The MLK images include Dr. King eating ice cream with Ralph Abernathy, greeting children in Newark, New Jersey, getting hit in the head with a rock in Chicago, and his arrival at both the famed Victory Baptist Church in Los Angeles and at J. Edgar Hoover's office to meet with the FBI director who had called him, "The most notorious liar in the country." There are also four photos of Dr. King's funeral. Photos measure 7 x 9" to 8 x 10".
