Marvelous Collection of WWII Recruiting Posters (30)

A huge assortment of colorful, support inspiring posters from the U.S. Treasury, Office of War Information and various other government offices. Dynamic graphically, these could “make” any room. Ranging in size from 20x14” to 29x41”, twenty-six are of the largest size. Condition is all EX to NRMT and some have pinholes and mailing folds. Even includes two of the touching “Sullivan Brothers” poster that features all five boys who were killed in battle. Later they would be the inspiration behind the film, <i>Saving Private Ryan</i>. Also, “Next!” with ironically dropping bombs on Japan, Uncle Sam “Keep Up The Good Work,” “We Have Just Begun To Fight” (lists Pearl Harbor, Guadalcanal, Bataan, Midway), “1778-1943” with both Revolutionary War and WWII soldiers, FDR with his quote and chilling graveyard scene. All are both historical and thought provoking.
