Marvelous Early View of the Grandstands at the Polo Grounds Photograph (PSA Type I)
Engaging circa 1900s early view of the grandstands at the fabled Polo Grounds. Sepia toned gem is 6.5x4.5" and displays packed stands for the baseball game in progress. Photo is in superb condition, verso has pencil notation indicating "Old Polo Grounds" along with stamps indicating that this is from the massive Brown Brothers photo collection. The Upper Manhattan institution played hosts to such pro teams as baseball's Giants, Yankees, and Mets; and football's Giants and Titans/Jets. PSA encapsulated Type I Authentic.
