MASSIVE Miami Dolphins "Promotional" Felt Pennant from Super Bowl VII - OVER 7 FEET LONG - From their 1972 Perfect Season
The only specimen known according to serious pennant aficionados, measuring a massive 90” in length, only one other banner of this size has been seen. Interestingly, the other was a matching Washington Redskins pennant. Therefore, it makes perfect sense that both were from the Super Bowl VII matchup of the Dolphins and Redskins and thus, also from the unmatched perfect 17-0 season. Most likely it was used at souvenir stands as a point of purchase display to promote their regular sized Super Bowl pennants (hence the rarity). This product is quite similar to the rare store display giant bobbing heads which sell for six-figures - and this is far rarer! The finest modern football pennant extant with beautiful graphics and quality, condition is overall EX+, measures 27x90" total.
