Michael Strahan 1993 Rookie New York Giants Game Worn Jersey
For more than a decade Michael Strahan has been the heart, soul, and face of the New York Giants franchise. His spirit in the locker room and efforts between the lines has earned him, not only a place in the hearts of Big Blue fans worldwide, but a place amongst the greatest defensemen ever to play the game. We offer the white "road" jersey he wore during his humble beginnings as a quiet but promising rookie out of Texas Southern. On the chest, back, and sleeves is his screened number "92" in blue and red, while across the shoulders on the verso is a matching nameplate screened with "Strahan". Made by "Apex One", their manufacturer's label is sewn to the front left tail along with a "93" year plate, and [size] "48" and "Long" flag tags. On the backside number "9", Michael has signed and inscribed, "Rookie Jersey-1993-2005-Michael Strahan '92" in strong silver sharpie (9/10). The date hints that he may have considered retirement prior to the start of last season. The garment shows the light use expected, given the fact that he only suited up for nine games his first season and did not appear in all of them. Includes photos of Strahan with the jersey.
