Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio Signed Sheet Music (2)
As is chronicled on the back of this sheet music for the 1956 song “I Love Mickey,” the inspired writer for the song, fan Teresa Brewer, states, “That Mantle is terrific! Y’know, someone ought to write a song about him.” With help from professionals Ruth Roberts and Bill Katz, that’s exactly what she did. Mantle signs (9/10) on cover of NRMT sheet music in a blue felt tip pen. Companion to this Mantle item is the rare, 1941 sheet music (EX) for “Joltin’ Joe DiMaggio”, signed by the Yankee hero on the front in 9/10 blue sharpie. A great duo from a greater duo from the pinstriped dynasty.
