Gorgeous plaque displaying photo of Mickey Mantle on stainless steel plate emanates from the famous auction of Mickey Mantle’s personal effects from his family. Large wooden plaque measures 14x17”. Black lettering expresses the sentiment: “Mickey Mantle All-Time Great Yankee Outfielder-First Baseman, Played 18 consecutive years (1951-1968) with the New York Yankees. Hit 536 home runs; was third all-time list when he retired…Hit record 18 homers in World Series play. Batted .298 lifetime…Three times A.L. Most Valuable Player (1956-1957-1962)…Triple Crown Winner, 1956. Mickey Charles Mantle, from the grateful New York Yankee fans.” Excellent condition, except for a few minor scratches. Sales tag from the original Madison Square Garden auction still attached. This was most likely given to Mickey Mantle on Mickey Mantle Day in 1969. LOA from Mantle family.
