Mickey Mantle Serigraph by Leroy Neiman
Two legends come together here as renowned artist LeRoy Neiman painted Yankees great Mickey Mantle in this limited edition serigraph numbered 142 of 350. The number appears in pencil in the bottom left corner, with Neiman's autograph in pencil at the bottom right. Measuring approximately 44" x 46.25" in its frame, the painting, in all its vibrant color depicting "The Commerce Comet" mid-stride is in NRMT condition. Mantle was an American League Most Valuable Player three times and All-Star 16 times. Neiman - who died in 2012 at age 91 - was a contemporary of Mantle's as both men began their respective careers in the early 1950s.
