Mid 1960's Bill Russell Boston Celtics Game Worn Shorts
The centerpiece in which the legendary Boston Celtics Dynasty was built, Bill Russell changed the way the game was played through his incredible athleticism and defensive prowess. Presented is a pair of his green satin game used shorts worn during the final, but no less dominant, years of his career. They are trimmed with a white knit along the sideseam and hem, and own an elastic and drawstring waistband. Inside that band is a manufacturer's tag from Wilson, along with a handwritten "38 +1 1/2" Rise" size flag tag, and a matching green knit swatch chain-stitched with his number "6" in white. An remarkable relic from one of the most significant players in the history of the sport.
