Mid 1960’s Roberto Clemente Game Used Batting Helmet

Mid 1960’s Roberto Clemente Game Used Batting Helmet

Notes: Fantastic Pittsburgh Pirates batting helmet was used by the great Roberto Clemente during his prime. Black fiberglass helmet has deep yellow “P” on the front. Piece of athletic tape with number “21” written in black marker is on the back of the helmet. Inside is brown padding and an American Baseball Cap sticker. Appears to be size 7 ?, which is slightly larger than Clemente’s hat size of 7. This can be explained by the fact that he usually wore a hat underneath his helmet.

Condition: Great use.
