Mid-1970s Donnie Shell Pittsburgh Steelers Game Worn Jersey (Steelers Cert.)
Circa mid-1970s Pittsburgh Steelers jersey game worn by Donnie Shell is all original but for the name plate which was removed by the team. Pittsburgh Steelers exclusive tag and Sand-Knit size 46 tags on the front tail but no year tag, black jersey has number 31 stitched to front, sleeves, and back in white. Fine use is evident with at least five team repairs with a prominent one near the back number, which displays blue paint transfers. The Hall of Fame safety claimed four Super Bowl titles with the feared Steel Curtain, and his 51 career interceptions was the record for a safety when he retired in 1988. Comes from the Steelers archive with their Certificate of Authenticity as well as a letter from Sports Investors Authentication.
